hola, after a while...

I’m at the Schipol Airport Lounge trying to kill a 6 hour wait before my connection to Houston. Off there for work. 2 weeks there and 3 + weeks in Europe vacationing while catching up with old buddies (yay! Cannot wait).. As you can see i’ve been slacking again. almost 3 months since the last post. I can make up some story about how busy I’ve been blah blah, but truth to be told, I was just plain lazy. hopefully its all water under the bridge because I’m back. And ready to share my crappy nothings. It's been a good 3 months. Some of what has happened..

(1)I got to finally visit Taj Mahal. One more check on my must-see list. Stepping foot on Taj Mahal, was good. Despite the all sweaty crowd pushing you around!. Also visited Jaipur which was very pretty and much cleaner and had better road than most parts of India I’ve been at least. People were amazing and the hotel or more of an old palace, Naila Bagh Palace was awesome. Great host I’d surely recommend. We were there for work in Mumbai. Mumbai is nothing if not shopping paradise! Even when enveloped by the heat, the smells (both noxious and weathered) and don’t even get me started on the traffic! But still a paradise. I’m so going there again for shopping next year. The people in our Mumbai office were graet too. Apart for making us feel extremely at home, their ultimate aim was to make us fat (like I’m not already) and they did and extremely fine job at it.. by the time I returned home, we were well fed and spoilt to the max. how come we don’t have a butler in Malaysia office?

(2) My new apartment house in Pantai Panorama is all finalised. Already working on the renovation details. Since its my cousin who is gonna do it for me, he’ll start before I return from my long work+vacation trip so we don’t waste time. But the planning and choosing fittings & tiles has been keeping me on my toes the last two weeks.

(3) Bro’s wedding has been finalised. August next year. Am so happy for them both.
(4) My two favorite nieces have grown so much. The older one is becoming so chatty with all the P & Qs, the other is a rat. Tries to get into any available space. Someone has to keep an eye on her at all times. mischievous little cutie..
(5) Got a new camera. IXUS 870.. Absolutely love it!
(6) Obama made it.
(7) Finally mange to plan (and execute my year end holiday).. managed to combine it with the business trip to safe some $$ but trust me the damage to the pocket is still BIG. And will be. SO, my vayage for the next couple of weeks - am heading to Houston now for two weeks and the back to Amsterdam for a couple of days visiting SS, and then 5 days in Venice & Milan catching up with VK & PR.. a week in London, 6 days in Switzerland with NB and then Brussels & Paris before heading home. Its going to be one hell of an exciting trip!! (just hope I won’t end up penniless after the trip, what with the apartment reno and all)
