Malaysia week - London

Malaysia Week was held in Covent Garden, London last weekend. Had a glimpse of the opening by YB Rais Yatim, the Minister of culture, arts and heritage when N was down. despite the gloomy weather, I must say, it certainly did a good job promoting Malaysia's culture, food and tourism.. On the opening, to start off with, the speech by the High Commissioner was awful and a disgrace for a country rep in the UK. I'll not waste my time dwelling into his language proficiency. Thanks to YB Rais, who on the contrary, gave a stunning speech (short and sweet) saving our air muka (face value).

from left, YB Rais giving speech, Malaysian High Commisioner in the UK and his wife, Mayor of Westminster, YB Rais's wife (damn gempak!), Mayor's wife.. not sure of the last person thou.
