So, the Italians seized the cup. but, it was Zidane who took the limelight of the finals on Sunday, thou not in a very nice way. The first thing I heard when I got into the tube yesterday morning was, 'why couldn’t he just control his temper?'. and the friend replies, 'exactly, what a stupid way to end his career'… Come on, lets not be so carried away with the whole thing. lets give that guy some benefit of the doubt. Maybe yes, with his experience, he should've known better to control his temper. If watched closer, there was definitely regret on his face.. what could Materazzi have said to provoke him? I'd love ZZ to spare the misery of wht got him to that… whatever it is, the French cannot justify their defeat with ZZ's exit.. it was a fair game and well deserved victory for the Azzurris.. well done guys!

On another note, Ronaldo has claimed that tht Man United have not supported or backed him on Rooney's incident and looking to move to Spain as soon as possible (aiming for Real Madrid!). whether or not the Spaniards take him in, it might be a good idea to stay out of England for a while. won't be surprised if he get bashed up otherwise.. either way, goodbye Christiano!
