ho ho holiday!

the evening Bootcamp session is proving to be more challenging than i thought. timing and location is great but not the evening rain and super muddy field. Not that we had dry field in the morning, but this is worst. we got back soaked last Monday. and thats how S and I ended up bunking today's session. but i'm really feeling guilty about it. only made worst with Nasi Lemak and ABC dinner later.. *grins sheepishly*

anyway, for those who have been following my blog and life ramblings would recall the long getaway i had end of 2008.. started in Houston, San Antonio, Amsterdam, Milan, Venice, London, Switzerland and finally Belgium. it was an amazing trip. As much as i'd love to make it a yearly affair, the house did create a dent in the pocket last year. but thats all settled now and i'm itching for round two (another damage to the pocket :p). it all started when SC moved to Morocco last year and a few of us promised a visit. we all agreed that September would be the best timing.. quite a few Public holidays and the weather. July/ August is too hot and Oct/Nov cold. plus I love Fall!

so, we did a bit of research and figured going thru London is best both $$ and convenience wise, getting to other destinations.. still thinking about the other destinations.. should be between cooking tour in Tuscany, one of the Greek islands (VK said he'll bring me to the one they shot Mamma Mia!), New York or Seville & Granada.. now AND i'm in that limbo. not that i don't crave like the whole whoo-hahs of planning a holiday and all, just this time, its a bit more challenging. fitting the timing with work, family and the rest of girls' schedules when nothing is falling inro place! its april and Sept is just around the corner. got to buy the low cost tix soon for good deal.. will have to sort it all out soon.. either way, i'm excited! whatever it is, Morocco and dear SC, here I come!!

so and in the meanwhile, to ease the itch from the travel bug, some of the ladies in the family (sis, sis-in-laws and all) are planning a long weekend in India. Purely shopping and relaxing.. since a close friend from London is getting engaged in Chennai on the 24th of June, i managed to talk the rest to fit the date. two in one for me! :) April-July is usually super hot and not the best time to visit india. unless of course you love the mango! I personally wouldn't have if not for S's engagement. But since we don't really care Chennai is by the coast, and we are going towards the end of summer, it should be alright i guess.. worst case scenario we'll stay indoor shopping all day!! :p
