Cosmopolitan?

I've been wanting to do this for a long time.. n finally, here it is my very own blog. I'm a Malaysian born and breed, now living in London, jalan jalan cari makan..:) I don't have much fondness for London. Never really had, based on my pass visits. it was okie as a tourist or student, but now that i'm living & working here, its kind of weird. Not that I hate the city, it just isn't my cup of tea or something i can shout about. Its still unfamiliar, considering i'm only into my 3rd month here. so maybe i need more time or i'm still reluctant to give up the comfort zone i had back home?

okie, enuff sulking and back to reality, i know i've got no rights to complain. i still remember Ming Kuan, a colleague during my good old Shell days said he can off-handly name 10 people who'd switch places with me without a second thought. well, he is right, i can myself name a few right away.. so, to be fair, i can't deny that this place does have something. lots of fun stuff to do. My Job for instance, I love it, a great place with lovely colleagues. And after all, thats why I'm here right? to get the experience, in both my career and an adverse lifestyle. That said, I don't know how long I'll be here for sure. but for as long as its gonna be, I should make the most of it.

so, into this new life and experience, i plan to write my day in day out encounters, travel experiences, the people i meet, and some general things about how my life has changed or is changing.. how every day is bringing basic survival type questions that I would rarely have worried about in my previous life i lived in the shadows of my parents (which i still technically do..) and everything familiar...
