what every women deserve in life

Glamour is one of my girlie time-passing passion. (maybe coz it was one of the fashion sites that wasn't blocked in my office) I came across a few lists that were worth sharing. First one is for all the ladies out there, '11 things every woman deserves in life' in from Apr 2007 issue. lets see how deserving i am..

1. A friend who takes your side and has the guts to tell you when you're wrong.
2. One item of clothing that instantly makes you feel twice as beautiful and half as nervous.
3. The occasional good cry, for no particular reason.
4. A man who just cannot get enough of your body.
5. At least as much pay as the guy at the next desk who does the same job.
6. A same-size friend with an incredible closet.
7. A really hot, really fast red car. Failing that, really hot red shoes you can run in.
8. The expensive toilet paper.
9. To sometimes lie back and take, take, take in bed.
10. A grandparent equivalent: wise, huggable, all ears.
11. A life in which you play the starring role.

8 of the 11.. okielar. but i really dun get how the expensive toilet paper got into that list. and for for no.6, any size 10s with a walk in wardrobe? people say I make a good friend u know. :)
the next one is the '12 friends every woman deserves' from the Jan 2006 issue.. making friends has never been an area of my concern. in fact, thats something i do pretty well, I can brag about it. but going thru this list, i realize just how truly blessed I am. coz its not about having tonnes of friends to laugh along the good times. its also about the ones who stick around during the stinking times. and I know i have a handful i can count during that even.

1. The friend who won't let you be less than your best, even if you sometimes want to kick her.
2. The friend who's spent the holidays with your parents, gotten drunk with your brother and lived through the dog-spaying incident of '92. She's family.
3. The personal comedian, so hilarious that you dare not call her while driving.
4. The friend who's a little bit evil—so entertaining!
5. A rich friend who will always buy you dinner.
6. A poor friend who'll let you buy hers.
7. The work friend: listener, knower of backstory, saver of sanity.
8. The friend who you can't wait to be Golden Girls with.
9. The neighbor who'll lend you her drill—or a pair of red stilletos. (duh! i can count on the first, but later?)
10. The friend who drags out of you all the sexual details you're secretly dying to share.
11. The friend who rafts the Amazon, gets a pet snake and does speed dating—so you don't have to.
12. The friend who, instead of asking how she can help, just shows up and does.
