Phew!

made the down payment for the car today. my heart was bleeding as I wrote the damn cheque, A huge chunk of $$ outa pocket. all those savings.. maybe I’ll feel better when I see the return physically in a week or two. But for the moment, the pain remains..

When the going gets tough, the tough goes shopping.. ever heard of that? The thing about me is I never needed justification for shopping. But I still do. I create justifications. N used to comment how I can justify just about anything. Even for her. I think it takes the guilt away, making it easier to mend the hole in the pocket...

I was looking at the damage from the BIG splurge in Singapore last weekend. (I keep my receipts all the time. I keep record of my expenditures, even if it hurts to see the damage) Four pairs of shoes, making it six in the last 2 months! How do I justify that? all the four for about $100. a steal! I’m never having as much as a glance at another pair of shoe for the next 6 months.(yea rite!) *giggling* but seriously, just how many shoes are enough? Can a women ever have enough shoes? Naaaahhh… The other big steal was the Laptop/document bag from Fossil. Saw it here in the Gardens for rm 1500 a couple of months back. I got it now on 40% for about 900. That’s the third bag in the month. (But the other two were the bonus splurge) and i cant remember when was the last bag before that. so, there you go..
